Bay Spring Community Center Invites Residents to Open House Events and Upcoming Programs
The Town of Barrington invites residents to visit the Bay Spring Community Center (BSCC), 170 Narragansett Avenue, during two upcoming Open Houses and to take part in several programs planned for September and October.
The Open Houses offer an opportunity to explore the newly renovated facility and help shape how the space is used. Residents are encouraged to share ideas.
Visitors are also welcome to bring a laptop, grab a seat at one of the tables, and try out the Center as a remote-work space. Whether you stop in to work, meet neighbors, or look around, the Open Houses are a chance to experience the Center and imagine new ways it can serve the community.
Upcoming Events
- Open House – Wednesday, September 23rd | 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. | Light refreshments provided.
- Open House – Friday, September 25th | 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. | Light refreshments provided.
- BSCC Walking Club – Fridays at 10:00 a.m. | September 25th through October.
- Moon Festival – Saturday, September 26th | 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. | Friends of Bay Spring Community Center is collaborating with the Super Joey Foundation – Rhode Island Chapter to host “Together Under One Moon,” A Mid-Autumn Community Celebration. All proceeds from the event benefit Meals of Love at Ronald McDonald House, supporting families and children in need. The event takes place at BSCC with a $15 admission fee (includes a dinner box and one mooncake) with additional items available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to pre-register at https://bsccri.org/events-listing/moon-festival for planning purposes, although walk-ins are welcome.
