Howard County Department of Public Works to Host Community Outreach Meeting on Montgomery Road Shared Use Path Improvements Project

The project will improve both pedestrian and bicycle safety by closing a gap in the existing sidewalk network along Montgomery Road between Rockburn Drive and Cullins Way. Proposed improvements include the installation of new pedestrian crossings, signage, and pavement markings and the construction of storm drainage and stormwater management infrastructure to improve drainage in the area. The project is currently in the preliminary design stage.

While there will be no formal presentation, the meeting will include a display of the design plans and County staff will be on hand to explain the proposed work, answer any questions, and gather public comments.
